| Description | The last photographic excursion of our trip to New Zealand was to a lake in the middle of nowhere - Lake Clearwater. We were hunting the "Plains of Rohan" that we thought were arount Mt Sommers but we ended up driving along a road that took us to a dirt and gravel road that (eventually) took us to this lake. This was taken on Christmas Eve and there was one group set up for camping. On the drive back we passed three or four more cars heading out to the lake to camp for Christmas. I don't envy them the storm that you can see rolling in. |
