English: Hall's tōtara (Podocarpus cunninghamii) on the Lake Matheson / Te Ara Kairaumati Walk, an easy 1.5 hour walk around glacial Lake Matheson which is famous for its vista of the mirrored Southern Alps, including Aoraki / Mount Cook and Mount Tasman / Horokoau. The walk runs through rimu, rātā, Hall's tōtara, and kāmahi forest.
