English: Lake Viaduct, with sheep. Almost idential view to 43145, although a notice has arrived (explaining that the viaduct, which crosses two streams, was built in 1874), as well as the sheep. The cycleway extends along the former railway for a further mile to Southerly Halt, but a stretch still remains inaccessible.
The farmer with the dog in the background has just provided his cattle and sheep with fodder, in a field near East Coombe Farm. Beyond, the edge of the moor rises towards Great Nodden. |
