This is the M/V James R. Barker loading taconite at North Shore Mining in Silver Bay, MN. The Barker is one of thirteen 1000 foot lakers that haul bulk cargo on the Great Lakes.

It was a warm, humid day and so the lakeshore behind this vessel was shrouded in thick fog." (Taken July 6, 2010)
