Description
English: Felix Lamert, Portrait of a P.O.W., 1946, oil on cardboard, 70,5 x 55 cm. Collection Jan Schüler, Düsseldorf. Felix Lamert was born 1906 in Glogau. He was a prisoner of war in camp 18 from June 1945 to August 1947. From 1947 to 1971 he was an art teacher at the Stadtgymnasium in Dortmund. He died in 1992.
Deutsch: Felix Lamert, Porträt eines Kriegsgefangenen, 1946, Öl auf Pressspan, 70,5 x 55 cm. Sammlung Jan Schüler, Düsseldorf. Felix Lamert wurde 1906 in Glogau geboren. Von Juli 1945 bis August 1947 befand er sich als Kriegsgefangener im Camp 18. Von 1947 bis 1971 unterrichtete er als Studienrat das Fach Kunst am Stadtgymnasium in Dortmund. Er verstarb 1992 in Dortmund.
