English: Lamu has maintained its traditional style of Transport, ether by foot, donkey or boat. Since time immemorial, the Lamu archipelago has been defined by special old modes of transport that have stood the test of time. It is such unique historical feature that have catapulted Lamu old town to the global glare, have been listed by UNESCO as a world heritage site. The town made it to the list as a way of preserving one of the oldest culture in the world |
