Description
English: Lamu's streets and close proximity with buildings is an important aesthetic to the identity of the town. With buildings being in such close spaces, shadows are naturally cast across the thoroughfare and provide cool shade on hot, humid days.
Kiswahili: Vichochoro vya Lamu ni mojawapo ya vipenga ambavyo yamesaidia kusambaa asili ya Lamu niching. Kwa kuleta majumba karibu, kivuli kinafunika kichochoro, hivyo basi kuchangia kuleta hali ya ubaridi watu watakapotembea barazani hususan katika siku za joto.
