English: Lanark Road End At this junction, often known as 'Lanark Road End', the A72 in the foreground continues to the left as 'The Clydeside Road' and leads to Lanark. The road straight on leads to Larkhall.
Until the late 1960's this road to Larkhall and beyond was the A74, the main south road to Carlisle. Then there was a garage at the corner. Now the corner is occupied by Brookside Garden Centre. |
