1857 wurden im Großherzogtum Baden Justiz und Verwaltung auch auf der untersten Ebene geschieden. Unterstes Organ der Rechtsprechung wurden die Amtsgerichte. So erhielt auch die Amtsstadt Donaueschingen ein Amtsgericht, das freilich noch rund ein halbes Jahrhundert zusammen mit dem 1842 eingerichteten Notariat im städtischen Rathaus untergebracht werden musste. |
