Der Legende nach hat um 1700 ein Hirtejunge beim Vieh hüten am Brigittiwald unerklärte Stimmen vernommen. Gemeinsam mit anderen Gläubigen ging er dem Gesang nach und fand in der Öffnung eines Föhrenstammes eine Statuette der Gottes Mutter Maria. |
