- Der Mumienmaske einer Frau wurde durch die großen aus Glas gearbeiteten Augen ein ganz besonders lebendiger Ausdruck verliehen, was durch die farbige Fassung noch verstärkt wurde: Das Gesicht war fleischfarben und die Haare schwarz bemalt. Auf ihrer rechten Kopfseite ist der Teil eines rosafarbenen Gewandes zu erkennen, das auf dem nicht mehr erhaltenen Brustteil weiterlief.

- Der nahe verwandte Frauenkopf aus Balansura, der sich in Stuttgart befindet, wird obenstehend (Abb. 4 und 5) abgebildet. Gesichtslänge 11,5 cm. Die Fleischfarbe ist gut erhalten, das Gewand rosa, schwarz das Haar, welches die Ohren zur Hälfte bedeckt. Die Augen sind aus schwarzem und weissem Glasfluss eingesetzt. Das Gewand zieht sich auch über den (verlorenen) Hinterkopf.
- [Das vorn in Wellen gescheitelte Haar mit den hinten umgelegten Zöpfen und dem Knoten am Hinterkopf entspricht im ganzen der Frisur der Lucilla (Bernoulli, Röm. Ikonographie II, 2, Münztafel V, 8, 9) und gestattet demnach eine Datierung der Maske in die zweite Hälfte des 2. Jahrhunderts n. Chr. Verwandt sind die Frauenmasken bei Edgar Taf. 24 aus derselben Zeit.]
