Description
Deutsch: Sandlebensräume beschränken sich im Binnenland in ihrem Vorkommen auf die Terrassensande und eiszeitlichen Flugsanddünenfelder in den größeren Flusstälern. Aufgrund ihrer extremen Nährstoffarmut und Trockenheit bieten die spärlich bewachsenen Sandrasen nur wenigen, dafür aber speziell angepassten und daher seltenen Tier- und Pflanzenarten Lebensraum. Das Gebiet "Sandmagerrasen Brunnleite" im Flusstal der Pegnitz ist als Landschaftsschutzgebiet ausgewiesen und gehört zur sogenannten "Sandachse Franken - Sandlebensräume zwischen Weißenburg und Bamberg".
