Panneau en relief de l'Arc de Constantin (épisode de guerre de Marc-Aurèle)

L'arc de Constantin a été inauguré en 315. Il commémore la victoire du pont Milvius où Constantin a battu son rival Maxence. Il est composé de fragments prélevés sur des monuments plus anciens.

Les statues des prisonniers Daces viennent du forum de Trajan.

Les médaillons illustrent des scènes de chasse et de sacrifice qui datent de l'époque d'Hadrien.

Les panneaux rectangulaires faisaient partie d'un monument consacré à Marc-Aurèle dont le visage a été modifié.

Les frises sous les médaillons sont de l'époque de Constantin.
