Description
English: particle size analysis by laser diffraction, single round small particle making fewer rings (than big ones). This is a mix of near and far field geometry, which doesn't fit together without scaling, or bending for this matter of a sketch. With part of Airy disk shown.
Deutsch: Schema eines Laserbeugungsanalysegeräts zur Partikelgrößenbestimmung, einzelner kleiner runder Partikel mit wenigen Beugungsringen (im Vergleich zu grossen Partikeln). Die Skizze ist eine Mischung aus Fern- und Nahfeld, was geometrisch exakt im selben Masstab nicht darstellbar ist, deswegen die Ungenauigkeiten.
