Description
English: The Blue Heaven is empty after being closed by a lack of volunteers wanting to live there. On a sign we read 'Heaven is closed, no one was interested" G. Ott. The last Peking Duck is eating a last human being. We read about Jasenovac, God's Pride and Joy. A typical Jean Thomassen painting with lots of absurd things like the comeback of a Titanic made of a newspaper and a real saucer with candles.
Nederlands: De blauwe hemel is gesloten bij gebrek aan vrijwilligers die hier willen leven. 'Hemel gesloten, niemand was geïnteresseerd' G. Ott staat er op een bord. De laatste Pekingeend eet de laatste mens. We lezen over Jasenovac Gods vreugd en trots. Een typisch Jean Thomassenschilderij vol absurde dingen zoals de terugkeer van de Titanic gemaakt van een gevouwen krant en een echt door de lucht vliegend bord (saucer) met kaarsen.
