| Description |
English: Last Rites for Rivenhall. This is the perimeter track of the former 229376. The base was built in 1943 and remained active until 1946. Ten years later the lease was purchased by Marconi and the base was used for Radar development, one of the experimental towers can be seen at 229388. With the demise of Marconi the concrete of the runways and hard standings became an asset and sold, it is currently being removed for hardcore. |
