Summary edit
DescriptionLast remaining buildings of John Brown's Shipyard - geograph.org.uk - 587118.jpg |
English: Last remaining buildings of John Brown's Shipyard The shipyard officially closed in 2001, but a ship hadn't been built here since 1972. The yard gave the world the QE2 and Queen Mary cruise liners, and the land is being regenerated with office buildings, a leisure complex, and the already completed Clydebank College building. The existing Clydebank town centre, most notably the Town Hall, can be seen in the background. |
