Hal tersebut disampaikan Atase Pertahanan (Athan) RI untuk Brunei Darussalam, Kolonel Arh Zaenal Arifin, S.Sos, dalam rilis tertulisnya di Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, Jumat (01/11/2019).

Diungkapkan Athan, Latma Petir Sakti ke-9 tahun 2019 yang dilaksanakan mulai tanggal 21 hingga 31 Oktober 2019 di Penanjong Garison, diikuti oleh 30 personel dari Kopassus dan 30 personel dari RPK ABDB.

“Latihan bersama yang dimulai sejak tahun 2011 ini merupakan ajang tahunan yang diselenggarakan setiap satu tahun sekali secara bergantian antara Negara Indonesia dan Negara Brunei,” ungkap Zaenal.

Adapun tujuannya, ucap Zaenal, untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme dan memelihara serta menjaga kesiapsiagaan prajurit, membahas berbagai aspek dan menganalisa masalah, dan saling bertukar informasi.
English: Not only increasing professionalism and maintaining and maintaining soldiers' readiness, the 2019 Petir Sakti Joint Training (Latma) further improved the relationship between the Indonesian-Brunei Elite Forces, namely Kopassus, and the Special Forces Regimen of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RPK ABDB).

This was conveyed by the Indonesian Defence Attache (Athan) to Brunei Darussalam, Colonel Arh Zaenal Arifin, S.Sos, in a written release in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam, Friday (01/11/2019).

Athan revealed that the 9th Petir Sakti Training in 2019 which was held from 21 to 31 October 2019 in Penanjong Garison, was attended by 30 personnel from Kopassus and 30 personnel from RPK ABDB.

"This joint exercise, which started in 2011, is an annual event which is held once a year alternately between Indonesia and Brunei," said Zaenal.

The aim, said Zaenal, was to increase professionalism and maintain and maintain soldiers' readiness, discuss various aspects, and analyse problems, and exchange information.
