Description
English: "Bittelschießer Täle", small canyon of river Lauchert, Swabian Alb. After the last glacial period (ca. 140Ma) the river eroded moraines and then cut a mass limestone. The totally lignified canyon, here 30m wide, is a very valuable nature reserve (geotope).
Deutsch: Bittelschießer Täle W Bingen bei Sigmaringen, Schwäbische Alb. Die Lauchert hat nach Ausräumung des Moränenschutts des Rheingletschers der Riß-Eiszeit einen Durchbruch durch einen Massenkalkhügel erodiert (ca. 140Ma). Das stark verholzte Täle mit seinen hier nur ca. 30m voneinander entfernten steilen Felswänden bildet ein höchst wertvolles Geotop.
