English: "Entroido de Laza" or the Carnival of Laza is one of the most traditional and ancient Carnival celebrations in Spain. It takes place in the small town of Laza in the Ourense province of Galicia, Spain. It attracts young and old alike with colorful costumes, constant music, verbenas and bizarre customs such as an ant and flour fight, getting periodically whipped, and a mud rag war.
