Fenêtres latérales du grand temple de la Sainte Mère à Tay Ninh, au Vietnam

Le Cao Daï (Palais Suprême) est une religion, fondée en 1926 et reconnue officiellement au Vietnam dont le Saint Siège est à Tay Ninh à une centaine de kilomètres d'Ho Chi Minh Ville (ancienne Saïgon)

Le grand temple, appelé Thanh That Cao Dai, a été construit entre 1933 et 1955, sans plan préalable et selon les visions du fondateur de cette religion : Ngô Van Chieu.

Son architecture très colorée opère une fusion entre l'Occident et l'Orient.

L'oeil divin figure sur la façade mais également sur les fenêtres du bas. Il symbolise à la fois l'esprit de Dieu et la lumière du coeur.
