Nids d'hirondelle en vente sur le grand marché de Cho Lon

Cho Lon (qui signifie Grand Marché) est le coeur commerçant de la ville, il a été développé par les chinois dès la fin du XVIIIème siècle. Cho Lon a été rattaché à Saigon en 1874.

Les nids d'hirondelle ( en réalité de certains martinets) sont très recherchés en Asie, ils combattraient la vieillesse et des maladies graves comme le cancer,

Un principe chinois dit "Manger, c'est se soigner", mais seuls les gens fortunés peuvent se soigner de la sorte car le kilogramme de nids d'hirondelle atteint 5.000 euros.
