Français : Daté de 1584, le puits est surmonté de la statue d'un lion tenant un écu aux armes de la cité. Fortement
endommagée par le temps, la sculpture fut remplacée en 1995 par une copie. La rue de l'Ours rappelle la présence de ce plantigrade dans la région au cours du Moyen Age En 1448, Jean Geiler, greffer de la ville. et père du célèbre prédicateur de la cathédrale de Strasbourg, avait été tué par un ours dans les vignes d'Ammerschwihr.
