Le triple pont vu de la place Presernov (The three bridges) Au fond, la ville ancienne. Le triple pont (Tromostovje / Three bridges) a été conçu par l'architecte Jože Plečnik en 1929-1932. Après la grande guerre, le pont initial était devenu trop étroit pour absorber la circulation entre la ville ancienne et la ville nouvelle. L'architecte Jože Plečnik proposa de construire de part et d'autre de l'ancien deux nouveaux ponts mais de manière asymétrique pour épouser la courbe faite par la rivière à cet endroit. Des balustrades de type vénitien et des lampadaires d'un style méditerranéen donnent à l'ensemble des trois ponts un caractère unique qui en a fait depuis lors le centre emblématique de la ville.
