Summary edit

Description
English: Leadenhall Market. Just off Gracechurch Street in The City of London, the glass-covered, cross-shaped market is quiet at weekends. There has been a market here since the 14th Century and it takes its name from the 14th Century lead-roofed mansion of Sir Hugh Neville which was nearby. It did specialize in meat & poultry but today it also has boutiques, cafes & pubs. Above this arch is the date 1881, commemorating the building of the present arcaded market by Sir Horace Jones. The colour scheme is predominantly red and white.
