Summary edit

Description
English: Leather Tor - Dartmoor. Leather Tor is easy to get to from one of the main roads that traverse the moor. Maybe a better name for Leather Tor would have been Cliff Tor. The word leather probably derives from the Anglo Saxon word hlead which means steep or cliff. The tor has been known as Laddre Torre and Leddor Tor in the past.
