English: Leaving Newtown Creek Now the tide is high enough, we are making our way to the exit of the creek, between two low strips of land that are all that separate the creek from the Solent. The first exit marker is the lollipop to the left, the second one is a V-shaped sign just to the left of the sail on the right. Get it wrong and you run aground, because the channel is narrow and shallow. |
