Rechts drei Beamte der niedersächsischen Landespolizei (frühe Polizei-Uniformen ab 1951): vermutlich zwei Verkehrspolizisten (mit weissen Schirmmützen) und ein Beamter einer örtlichen Schutzpolizeistation. Foto am 27. Sept. 1954. Der Kampfpanzer M 47 aus US-Produktion gehörte ab 1956* zur Erstausrüstung der neu aufgestellten Panzerbataillone der Bundeswehr der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. (*)Am 19. Jan. 1956 in Andernach Übergabe der ersten 14 von fast 1000 gebrauchten KPz aus US-Beständen an die Bundeswehr.
English: Battle tank M47 (US) "Patton" of the Dutch army during an army exercise south-east of Osnabrück, near Bissendorf in Lower Saxony. On the right, three officers of the Lower Saxony state police (early police uniforms from 1951): presumably two traffic policemen (with white peaked caps) and an officer from a local police station. Photo taken on 27 Sept. 1954. The US-made M 47 main battle tank was part of the original equipment of the newly established tank battalions of the Bundeswehr of the Federal Republic of Germany from 1956*. (*)On 19 Jan. 1956 in Andernach, the first 14 of almost 1000 used KPz from US stocks were handed over to the Bundeswehr. |
