DescriptionLego promotional 40049 - mini Sopwith Camel (7331523014).jpg |
Set 40049 is a likeness of the British World War I biplane, Sopwith Camel, with a wingspan of about 5 inches. It is available only as a free promotional item, with any purchase of $75 or more at Lego stores and shop.lego.com in June 2012. It commemorates the release of the more elaborate, larger 10226 Sopwith Camel set which retails for $99.99 in the US. For a free promotional set, it's quite interesting and good looking. Rated at Age 6+ and consisting of 65 pieces, this set was a quick, stress-free 12-minute build for me. The unpacked and sorted pieces. Actual piece count is 69, as there are four spare pieces included. |
