Description

The sky indicates a passing cyclone that fortunately missed Vanuatu. But the light was poor for photography and got worse as the day progressed.

On the left is Efate and on the right Lelepa. In the middle is Eretoka (Hat Island), of great historical significance (see later in this series). Thanks to the almost single handed determination of one Lelepa resident this whole area is about to be designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.
