Description
Français : Six mâts sont disposés à angle droit devant l’immeuble d’Héma-Québec, chacun est surmonté d’une structure vaguement ovoïde. Véritables repères visuels, ces « veilleuses » revêtent, à première vue, l’apparence de sentinelles en mouvement, ayant été conçues de manière à pouvoir effectuer diverses rotations, au gré des vents. Le passant pourra également y voir un cocon, un nid d’abeille, une pomme de pin... L’artiste parle volontiers de « florilège métallique » pour qualifier ces éléments rigoureusement construits et néanmoins riches de connotations poétiques, dont l’aspect n’est pas sans rappeler les images scientifiques caractéristiques du milieu de la santé.
