L'escalier de la cour de la Ca' d'Oro est une oeuvre de Matteo Raverti C'est à la fin du XIXè ou du début XXè siècle que le dernier propriétaire : le Baron Giorgio Franchetti, donateur de la collection et du bâtiment en 1916 à l'Etat italien, a fait réaliser des travaux de restauration de l'édifice pour lui redonner son aspect originel. La Ca' d'Oro a été élevée entre 1424 et 1434 dans le style vénéto-byzantin dont les éléments de décor s'inspirent de ceux du Palais des Doges. Le palais a été en restauration durant de nombreuses années, il est un des plus beaux de Venise. |
