English: Leschi (in Seattle, Washington) and Lake Washington, 1903. The two major structures visible along the lake are (left) the terminal and power plant of the cable car that used to run on Yesler Way to the lake, and (right) the Lake Washington Casino built by John Cort in 1890. Item 77252, Don Sherwood Parks History Collection (Record Series 5801-01), Seattle Municipal Archives. Seattle Municipal Archives changed its URL scheme circa 2022; the older URLs beginning with "clerk" are deprecated, and will eventually fail. The following search should find item number 77252 in their new database:
