Title
Letter from Georg Bredig to Max Bredig, April 17, 1937
Description
Georg Bredig (1868-1944) advises his son, Max Bredig (1902-1977), to not confront his supervisor regarding a recent scientific publication for which he did not receive proper credit. Georg additionally mentions that Max must remain in his supervisor's good grades to receive a favorable reference for future employment elsewhere. Max's lack of authorship credit is likely due to the antisemitic Nuremberg Laws under the Third Reich, which disenfranchised German Jews from 1935 onward. The entire letter is five pages, although three pages are missing.
