Description
Georg Bredig (1868-1944) encourages his son, Max Bredig (1902-1977), to accept a fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan facilitated by their colleague and friend, Kasimir Fajans (1887-1975). The opportunity will allow Max to emigrate from Germany as circumstances worsen for German-Jews under the Third Reich. Georg Bredig erroneously dated the letter as 1935 instead of 1937.
