English: The Liberation (Holocaust) memorial in Liberty State Park in NJ portrays an American soldier carrying the body of a Holocaust survivor. In this photo the lifeless hand of the survivor hangs down directly above the upwardly thrust torch of the Statue of Liberty visually affirming the pursuit of freedom for all.
