One of the most frequently visited lighthouses in the Philippines.

Summary

edit
Description
English: The lighthouse was built close to the coastline of Ilocos Norte where it served as a guide for ships and local fishermen against the gigantic waves and rocky coastline. It was built during the Spanish Colonial period in 1887. The light house went through several renovations brought by the challenges caused by earthquakes. At present, it is one of the most frequently visited lighthouses in the Philippines that requires tourists to climb a decent amount of stairs as it is located so high up a hill.
