editDescriptionLimavady - Tale of the two Towers. - geograph.org.uk - 491897.jpg |
English: Limavady - Tale of the two Towers. Limavady Main Transmitting Station, servicing the North and West of Northern Ireland with FM radio, UHF Television, DAB and Digital television. It also has a number of dependent relays in this area of the province. Limavady takes a signal from the powerful transmitter at Divis Mountain using the two White horizontal (trough) aerials seen on the original BBC tower on the right. Limavady's signal is somewhat hindered by the impressive Roe Valley. |
