Description
Deutsch: Der Limburger Dom, auch Georgsdom genannt, thront oberhalb der Altstadt von Limburg neben der Burg Limburg. Die hohe Lage auf den Felsen oberhalb der Lahn sorgt dafür, dass der Dom weithin sichtbar ist. Der Bau gilt heute als eine der vollendetsten Schöpfungen spätromanischer Baukunst. Es zeigen sich jedoch auch schon Elemente der Frühgotik. http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limburger_Dom
