| Description |
English: Limestone Quarry on Cringley Hill Spelt as Kringley Hill on the OS.Map from 1857, this site is shown as a working quarry with a limekiln in front of the quarry face on top of a spoil heap; however by the 1895 map it has gone out of use. There is now no evidence of a lime kiln on this site, but the spoil heaps remain, and are in use by a large rabbit population. |
