Summary edit

Description
English: Linear diffusers located in the plaster walls at each end of this 1917 executive suite increase air supply volume and coverage, reducing the number of wall penetrations otherwise required for conventional grilles.

Louvered grilles were confined to end bays and grain painted to

blend with the room’s paneled oak walls.
