Deutsch: Mühlkreisbahn
Sie war Teil der zwischen Mühlkreisbahn und Westbahn geschaffenen Gleisverbindung, die dem Güterverkehr diente und am 14. November 1900 eröffnet wurde. Diese Brücke über die Donau in Linz wurde 1897 bis 1900 als kombinierte Eisenbahn- und Straßenbrücke von der k.k. priv. Hofschlosserei Anton Biró geplant und erbaut. Die genietete Eisenkonstruktion bestand aus drei bogenförmigen Fachwerkteilen, die von zwei im Flussbett stehenden gemauerten Pfeilern getragen werden. Mit einer Gesamtlänge von 375 Metern verband sie – wie erwähnt - die Mühlkreisbahn und die Westbahn, wurde aber nur gelegentlich für den Zugverkehr genutzt. Diese Eisenbahn- und Straßenbrücke über die Donau, die hier im Bild symbolhaft im Nebel endet, war durch Korrosion stark beschädigt, wurde mittlerweile abgerissen und gehört daher der Vergangenheit an. Diese Brücke war bis 2013 ein Denkmal (ObjektID: 22120).English: This bridge over the river Danube was torn down recently. It was built 1897 – 1900 and in the last years allready strongly corroded. It was part oft he railway connection between the Mühlkreisbahn and the Westbahn. This bridge was a former monument (ObjektID: 22120 until 2013).
