Object history This miniature was acquired by its previous owner (English collector) in 1975 at Sotheby's London (sale of 2nd of June 1975, lot 27) as an original work of Jean-Étienne Liotard. And indeed, stylistic criteria of this superior qualitatiy miniature fully corresponds to works of this great Swiss artist.
