English: Liskeard Station. A DMU departs for Plymouth on a summer afternoon. Just in front of the train leading off to the left is the connection to the Looe branch, which has its own terminus platform at right angles to the main line. Looe trains head north-east before swinging round 180 degrees and passing under the main line. A closer view of the junction taken by Peter Whatley in the same year can be seen here: 814578. |
