| Description |
Srpski (latinica): Lišćarske listopadne šume se razvijaju na prostorima u kojima vlada umereno-kontinentalna klima. U toku hladnog perioda, koji traje od 4 do 5 meseci ove šume imaju nedostatak vode. Vode zapravo ima u dovoljnim količinama u obliku leda i snega, te u takvom obliku je nedostupan biljci. Međutim, taj nepovoljan zimski period sa snegom i jakim mrazevima biljke preživljavaju na različite načine. Jedan od oblika prilagođenosti je opadanje lišća kod listopadnog drveća u jesen, dok su pupoljci zaštićeni ljupastim listićima prekriveni dlakama i smolom, a stablo i grane debelom korom.
Kao i u svim ostalim šumama, biocenoza lišćarskih listopadnih šuma je uređena po spratovima. Sprat drveća gradi jedna do nekoliko vrsta visokog drveća (fanerofita), npr. grab, sladun, cer, bukva, lužnjak, kitnjak, javor. Od životinja u ovom spratu nalaze se brojne ptice, insekti i arborealni sisari (npr. veverica). Sprat žbunova grade niske drvenaste biljke u formi nanofanerofita i hamefita (npr. glog, leska, trnjina, božikovina), a od životinja najčešće su sitne ptice (slavuj, senica, carić), insekti, pauci i puževi. Prizemni sprat grade zeljaste biljke (mahovine, paprati, šumska jagoda), plodonosna tela gljiva (vrganj, muhara), i po koji lišaj. |
