Description
English: Little Metalmark - Calephelis virginiensis, Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest, Felda, Florida. These are supposedly fairly common, but Okaloacoochee Slough is the only place I've seen them. The first one I saw years ago and I followed it for almost an hour before getting a picture. Focused on the butterfly, I almost stepped on a Dusky Pygmy Rattlesnake. I now carefully watch the ground as I pursue photographs.
