| Description |
English: Liverpool Exchange railway station, Merseyside Originally opened in 1850, the station was rebuilt in 1888 by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway. The terminus station behind it survived until 1977 when it was replaced by sinking the lines underground and connecting them through to the lines out of Central station, making a through north-south service. The station behind this frontage has been swept away. |
