Not all ribbon cables are the same and if you overlook this fact you can spend quite a few hours looking at your pots and your faders wondering why one minute it's spitting out arbitrarily random numbers from the ADC and then failing entirely do produce anything and then producing just noise! The heads were placed in the wrong configuration. Have a clear mind and a close eye when DIYing your own ribbon cables folks! |
