| Description |
English: Llanberis Art and Craft at the old BR Station This is the old BR station building. It marked the terminus of the branch line from Caernarfon built by the L&NW Railways in 1869. The building on the right is the old Drill Hall, now housing only a detachment of the 6 Cadet Batt. RWR. Prior to WWI many of the quarrymen were keen members of the 3rd Volunteer Batt RWF, which was commanded by Capt (later Col) Dr R H Mills Roberts, the Quarry Surgeon. |
