Català: La Llegenda de Querforadat és un element inclòs a l'inventari del patrimoni cultural immaterial del Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró, inventari realitzat per Institut del Patrimoni Cultural Immaterial (IPACIM).
El Querforadat està situat al peu de la Serra de Cadí, El castell està documentat ja al segle XII i històricament estava vinculat al Baridà i a la Cerdanya, encara que actualment Querforadat és una entitat de població del municipi de Cava, que forma part de l'Alt Urgell. Segons la llegenda, una vegada, un viatger, va demanar a un veí del Querforadat que li ensenyés el famós forat del Quer, i aquest li va respondre: Al Quer, el forat tothom se’l te’. I li va explicar la història del nom del poble: En temps dels moros, el poble va quedar assetjat. Però els veïns coneixien un forat que comunicava el Castell amb el riu i els va permetre esquivar els setges. D’altra banda, l’ús hàbil del forat del Quer que s’explica a la llegenda, atorga a una població antiga, la intel·ligència o picardia necessària per sortir-se’n de moments històrics difícils.
English: The Legend of Querforadat is an element included in the inventory of the intangible cultural heritage of the Natural Park of Cadí-Moixeró, an inventory made by the Institute of Immaterial Cultural Heritage (IPACIM).
The Querforadat is located at the foot of the Serra de Cadí, El castell it is already documented in the twelfth century and was historically linked to Baridà and Cerdanya, although Querforadat is currently a population entity in the municipality of Cava, which is part of Alt Urgell. According to legend, once, a traveler asked a resident of the Querforadat to show him the famous Quer hole, and the latter replied: In the Quer, everyone knows the hole. And he told him the story of the town's name: In the time of the Moors, the town was besieged. But the neighbors knew of a hole that connected the Castle with the river and allowed them to evade the sieges. On the other hand, the skilful use of the Quer hole that is explained in the legend, gave an ancient population the intelligence or cunning necessary to get out of difficult historical moments.

El Querforadat está situado al pie de la Sierra de Cadí, El castillo está documentado ya en el siglo XII e históricamente estaba vinculado al Baridà ya la Cerdanya, aunque actualmente Querforadat es una entidad de población del municipio de Cava, que forma parte del Alt Urgell. Según la leyenda, una vez, un viajero, pidió a un vecino del Querforadat que le enseñara el famoso agujero del Quer, y éste le respondió: Al Quer, el agujero todo el mundo se lo tiene. Y le contó la historia del nombre del pueblo: En tiempo de los moros, el pueblo quedó asediado. Pero los vecinos conocían un agujero que comunicaba el Castell con el río y les permitió esquivar los asedios. Por otra parte, el uso hábil del agujero del Quer que se explica en la leyenda, otorga a una población antigua, la inteligencia o picardía necesaria para salirse de momentos históricos difíciles. |
